This material ropeway is equipped with its Gantner A6832 SULZ winch, a four-cylinder Hutz 65kW diesel engine with air cooling and an electric starter with winter starting system, a simple and reliable system hydromechanical drive unit "Sauer", a trouble-free air braking system for the traction drum combined with a mechanical braking.
The winch is mounted on a rigid duralumin frame with runners and special mounting points for lifting. The drive unit was designed and built for delivery by a tractor, a manipulator, and a light all-terrain vehicle or a helicopter, both in a trailer and on an external sling. Pull, speed and direction of rotation is controlled by a manual gearbox.
The material ropeway consists of three types of steel ropes:
1. The main steel rope with a plastic core L = 2000 m, D = 24 mm;
2. Pull steel rope with a steel core L = 2100 m, D = 12 mm;
3. Auxiliary steel ropes unit L = 500 m, D = 12 mm;
The cableway is wound and transported on a special winding drum with a capacity of 2000 m of steel cable Ø 24 mm, mounted on a single-axle trailer with pneumatic travel. The winding drum is equipped with a mechanical drive with a cardan shaft, which is connected to the drive shaft of the tractor and a mechanical brake system with manual lever control. The winding drum is transported by John Deer all-wheel drive tractor.
The main cable of ropeway is installed and fixed on natural or manmade anchors and intermediate modular towers with shwerts along the longitudinal axis of the planned work to the required height. The tension of the supporting steel rope is carried out using a special tension set (tragseilklemme) “Wyssen” 10 tons. The height of the intermediate metal modular tower can reach 20 m and more.
This material ropeway is equipped with the Koller SK3 transport load lifting carriage with a lifting capacity 3 tons, which is equipped with a hydraulic braking system with electronic-mechanical control.
The ropeway is controlled by a radio operator with an operator located on the cableway line at the point of operation.
